Daejeon City announced on the 27th that it will publicly recruit companies to participate in the 'Good Workplace Creation Project' until the 24th of next month.
Eligible applicants are companies with 10 or more employees that have had their headquarters or factories in Daejeon for more than three years. Companies that participated in the project in 2018 and 2019 (certification expired) can also apply.
Companies wishing to participate must complete the project application form and project plan posted on the Daejeon City or Daejeon Job Economy Promotion Agency websites and visit the Small and Medium Enterprise Support Team at the Daejeon Job Economy Promotion Agency to submit the documents within the application period.
The final participating companies will be selected through quantitative evaluation (document evaluation 50 points), qualitative evaluation (project plan evaluation 50 points), and additional points evaluation (10 points), with the final results expected to be announced in April.
In May, the city plans to hold a pledge ceremony with representatives of the selected companies and labor union representatives. Selected companies will receive up to 121 million KRW in project funds and corporate promotion expenses.
Additionally, in February next year, the performance of participating companies will be evaluated, and based on the evaluation results, a 'Good Workplace' project certification plaque will be awarded, along with additional support funds.
