CJ ENM Launches 'Barneys New York' 100th Anniversary Collection

CJ ENM announced on the 27th that its ‘Barneys New York Collection’ will showcase new spring collection products commemorating the 100th anniversary of the launch of the premium New York fashion brand ‘Barneys New York.’ This is the first collection to be officially introduced since CJ ENM acquired the exclusive license for Barneys New York’s domestic fashion last year.

The Barneys New York Collection captures the heritage of Barneys New York, which has been beloved by Americans for 100 years, through this spring’s new products. The collection features items that highlight Barneys New York’s unique practical yet stylish designs that blend classic and casual styles. Additionally, trendy touches with sporty colors and patterns such as pink and lime have been added to enhance usability as spring fashion.

Special new products that increase the collectible value of the 100th-anniversary collection have also been prepared through collaboration with an Italian fabric company that mainly handles high-end brands. First, a limited-edition tweed jacket is introduced using tweed fabric from ‘Campore,’ which has a 200-year history. Campore is a fabric manufacturer that has developed tweed with luxury brands and has led global tweed jacket trends over the past 2 to 3 years. The Barneys New York Collection tweed jacket features Campore’s multi-fabric exclusively for Asia. While typical tweed uses five colors, the multi-fabric blends more than ten colors, shining brilliantly yet subtly for a luxurious look.

Three premium clothing items, including jackets, volume skirts, and short pants, made with premium jacquard fabric from Italy’s leading fabric company ‘Breco Tessile,’ will also be released. Breco Tessile is known for strictly maintaining quality while adhering to 100% ‘Made in Italy’ standards and has long collaborated with famous Italian luxury brands.

Going forward, the Barneys New York Collection plans to present special lineups commemorating the 100th anniversary through collaborations with domestic artists and top designers. The new products from the Barneys New York Collection can be found on fashion-specialized platforms such as ‘Celebshop,’ as well as SSF, SI Village, and LF. To celebrate the season opening, a 10% discount and limited-quantity 10% discount coupons will be offered from February 28 to March 6.
