Al Square Enters Brokerage Business for Knowledge Industry Centers

RSquare, a commercial real estate data specialist company, announced on the 27th that it will launch a platform that integrates online and offline services, differentiating itself from the existing offline-centered brokerage of knowledge industry centers. RSquare aims to share transactions and commission revenues with licensed real estate agents in a spirit of 'co-prosperity.'

Additionally, RSquare will open its first base real estate office, 'RSquare Real Estate,' in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, dedicated to brokerage of knowledge industry centers. This marks the first step into the knowledge industry center market, with plans to expand its business area to major knowledge industry center regions in Seoul and the metropolitan area.

Unlike traditional brokerage mainly conducted offline, RSquare’s knowledge industry center brokerage service will operate both an online platform and a KakaoTalk knowledge industry center channel simultaneously. The KakaoTalk channel is not just a simple channel but provides various information related to real estate and knowledge industry centers.

Licensed real estate agents can freely upload their listed properties through RSquare’s online platform and proceed with joint brokerage procedures with RSquare. Joint brokerage refers to transactions where both the lessor and lessee use licensed real estate agents. Lessors can also upload their properties on RSquare’s online platform. Properties can be registered easily and quickly anytime and anywhere without visiting a real estate office.

In existing online platforms, licensed real estate agents paid platform usage fees such as advertising fees to list their properties. However, RSquare’s fully open platform does not charge any usage fees such as advertising or registration fees. Moreover, RSquare shares brokerage commission revenues with licensed real estate agents.

Typically, in joint brokerage, the brokerage agents on the lessor’s and lessee’s sides receive commissions only from their respective clients, but RSquare provides a portion of the commission to the counterpart licensed real estate agent. This is RSquare’s way of sharing profits to promote co-prosperity with licensed real estate agents.

Song In-sang, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), said, "RSquare, the number one commercial real estate brokerage, holds a high-quality database including a comprehensive survey of over 130 buildings in Gasan and Guro, along with excellent lessor and lessee data."

RSquare plans to expand the scope of commercial real estate through its knowledge industry center brokerage business and strengthen each business area such as lease brokerage, purchase and sale consulting, data analytics, and asset management based on the accumulated data.
