[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] LG Electronics announced on the 27th that it will officially launch the new commercial projector 'LG ProBeam' in the domestic market.

The new LG ProBeam (model name: BU70QGA) is optimized not only for conference rooms but also for media art screenings, featuring 4K high resolution and a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. It is also characterized by a maximum brightness of 7,000 ANSI lumens, making it the brightest among LG Electronics' projectors.

The new product can connect up to 9 units horizontally or vertically to create panoramic images. In particular, the 'Edge Blending' feature, newly introduced by LG Electronics in this product, reduces color distortion in overlapping areas when multiple projectors are used together, displaying the image naturally as a single scene.

The new model automatically optimizes focus and screen size by recognizing the curvature and area of the wall onto which light is projected through the built-in camera. It can be used in buildings with many curved walls such as art galleries and museums.

Additionally, LG Electronics is applying its B2B product management solution, previously used mainly for signage products, to projectors for the first time. If an abnormality occurs during use, the software embedded in the product detects it in real time and helps take action. Multiple ProBeam units installed in various locations can also be managed from a single place.
