CU announced on the 26th that it will hold a riding donation campaign for the descendants of independence activists in collaboration with Yapit Rider and the Independence Hall of Korea to commemorate the March 1st Movement Day.

This March 1st riding campaign will be conducted as a customer participation challenge, and if the total accumulated riding distance of participants next month exceeds 310,000 km, CU and Yapit Rider will each donate 10 million KRW, totaling 20 million KRW.

Membership points can also be donated through the CU membership application, Pocket CU. Any CU customer can participate, and points are converted at a rate of 1 point to 1 KRW, which will be added to the donation fund. The funds raised through this campaign will be delivered to the nonprofit organization Habitat Korea and used as a fund to improve the housing environment for the descendants of independence activists.

To participate, apply for the March 1st donation riding challenge within Yapit Rider via the link provided in Pocket CU, then turn on Yapit Rider and start riding. There is no limit to the number of rides per person, and the rider recruitment page can also be found on the Independence Hall of Korea website and the Yapit Rider app.

A BGF Retail official said, “We prepared this riding campaign to share our gratitude with customers for the independence activists who devoted themselves to the independence movement on the occasion of March 1st Movement Day,” adding, “We will continue to actively carry out sincere activities to raise social interest in independence activists.”
