Dongdaemun-gu Job Center Supports Customized Job Counseling through Operation of ‘Visiting Job Counseling Office’

Operated every Thursday from the second week of March to the last week of May at the Dong Resident Center in the first half of the year

Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) will operate the field-oriented job counseling service ‘Visiting Job Counseling Office’ in both the first and second halves of this year, following the second half of last year.

The ‘Visiting Job Counseling Office’ is a project aimed at residents who find it difficult to visit the district job center due to constraints of time, location, or lack of information.

The district plans to dispatch job counselors from the job center to each Dong Resident Center to provide life-oriented job counseling services for job seekers. The first half’s ‘Visiting Job Counseling Office’ will be sequentially operated every Thursday from the second week of March to the last week of May at the Dong Resident Centers.

Residents who visit the ‘Visiting Job Counseling Office’ will receive one-on-one customized employment counseling, job registration, various job information, and a one-stop service leading to employment. They will also be provided with information on various vocational training programs that can enhance their personal capabilities.

The district plans to continuously operate the Visiting Job Counseling Office so that more residents can benefit from job counseling and vocational training information in the future.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “We will continue to actively support our residents by providing one-stop employment support services, diverse job information, and vocational training programs to improve employment rates and individual capabilities.”
