Com2verse, a metaverse-specialized company established together with NPI, Com2us, and WYSIWYG Studio, held a signing ceremony on the 23rd at the Korea Microsoft headquarters, attended by the CEOs and executives of both companies, pledging mutual technology exchange and collaboration for Com2verse, which is being designed as a metaverse infrastructure.

Com2verse and Korea Microsoft will collaborate to apply and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) technology within the metaverse, and will also jointly promote the development of business solutions for the metaverse office. Additionally, they plan to build security solutions for user data analysis and personal information protection, aiming to expand Com2verse's competitiveness through a close cooperative system.

Microsoft is leading the IT industry by expanding its business into various fields such as AI technology, security, and gaming, including integrating 'GPT technology' into its search engine 'Bing,' alongside its existing OS (Operating System) and business solution production and service operations. Com2verse's strategy is to enhance the overall completeness of its infrastructure by incorporating Korea Microsoft's excellent technology and solutions.

Lee Kyung-il, CEO of Com2verse, stated, "By cooperating with Korea Microsoft, we expect to further advance the practical functionality and usability of Com2verse by utilizing AI technology and accumulated diverse solutions," adding, "We will continue to build strong alliances with global companies in various fields to make Com2verse a leading player in the global metaverse market."

Expectations are rising for the virtual office that Com2verse plans to commercialize within the second quarter of this year through the agreement with Korea Microsoft. In building full-fledged metaverse services and infrastructure such as conventions, conferences, and UGC (User Generated Contents Studio) studios within the virtual office, NPI is anticipated to play a significant role not only in XR content production and supply but also in jointly promoting advertising and convention businesses with Com2verse, making its future activities highly anticipated.
