The 12th Changnyeong County Government Employees' Labor Union Inauguration Ceremony Held

Chairman Kwon Hyun-jae: "We Will Create a Happy Union"

The Changnyeong County Government Employees' Union in Gyeongnam held the inauguration ceremony for the 12th Changnyeong County Government Employees' Union at the Changnyeong County Sports Center, attended by over 700 guests and union members.

The inauguration ceremony held on the 22nd was supported by key officials including Acting County Governor Kwon Haengdae, Chairman Kim Jaehan and county council members, Vice Chairman Cho Changjong of the National Government Employees' Union, and Cho Myunghoon, head of the Sunchang County branch, a sister local government, who all attended to strengthen the union's launch.

The ceremony began with a congratulatory performance by the government employees' union band ‘Changgongro’, followed by the entrance of flags from each branch, presentation of plaques of appreciation, the chairman’s inaugural address, congratulatory speeches from guests, and a performance created collaboratively by all former executive committee members. This event successfully captured both the significance and enjoyment of the inauguration, earning enthusiastic applause from the union members.

Chairman Kwon Hyunjae stated in his inaugural address, “We will create a union based on communication and empathy, aiming for a rational labor union, a public service society where common sense prevails, and happy union members.”
