CJ Olive Young experienced a temporary error during an application (app) system update, resulting in some customers' My Page displaying other members' names, addresses, and other information.

According to industry sources on the 23rd, Olive Young's membership count was 11 million as of the first half of last year, and the estimated number of affected cases is around 10,000.

Olive Young reported the incident to the authorities on the 22nd and is individually notifying the affected parties of the data leak.

An Olive Young representative stated, "We recognized the situation on the day the error occurred and immediately restored the system. We deeply apologize for causing concern to our customers and will conduct more thorough inspections to prevent the same issue from happening again."
