Driver, Fairway Wood, and Hybrid Configuration
Titleist announced on the 23rd that it will launch the 'TSR1 Metal Line,' consisting of three types: driver, fairway wood, and hybrid.
The new products feature an ultra-lightweight design, improved aerodynamics, and strategically placed center of gravity. The company explained that among all Titleist clubs to date, these are the lightest, increasing distance by maximizing ball speed with higher launch angles and spin rates.
The TSR1 driver applies a 460cc head, a 40g shaft, and a lightweight grip to allow golfers with slower swing speeds to experience easier and faster club speed. It also offers forgiveness to ensure maximum distance even on mishits.
The TSR1 fairway wood provides a higher launch angle through weight reduction. Compared to the existing TSR2 model, the head is 20g lighter while the head size has been expanded to 180cc. The company stated it is recommended for golfers who want to launch the golf ball higher and faster with a sleek swing.
The TSR1 hybrid features a new head design. It has a similar appearance to the fairway wood, increasing head size without adding weight. Various options have been diversified to increase speed and launch angle, considering golfers' different styles.
More details about the TSR1 Metal Line can be found on the Titleist club website. The products are available for purchase at official Titleist club dealers nationwide.
