Jeon Seung-il, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Receives Plaque of Appreciation for 'HiVE Project Development'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Jeon Seung-il, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, announced on the 23rd that he recently received a plaque of appreciation from Gwangju Health University at the 'Industry-Academia-Government Lifelong Vocational Education Performance Forum.'

Jung Myung-jin, President of Gwangju Health University, stated, "Councilman Jeon Seung-il has greatly contributed to the successful development of the Higher Vocational Education Hub District (HiVE) project with his strong sense of mission and responsibility," and added, "We presented this plaque as a token of our gratitude for his dedication."


HiVE (Higher Vocational Education Hub District) is a project selected through a Ministry of Education-led public contest, in which Seo-gu Office of Gwangju and Gwangju Health University collaborated to secure 4 billion KRW in national funding, with a total project budget of 4.5 billion KRW (including 500 million KRW local funds), aiming to cultivate regionally tailored talents through specialized local education.


Councilman Jeon said, "I am pleased to contribute to the HiVE project, which fosters local talent through cooperation between regional universities and basic local governments," and added, "I will strive even harder for the development of the HiVE project."
