According to the county on the 23rd, about 40 members held a resolution rally opposing the relocation of the Gwangju Military Airport, strongly protesting against the city of Gwangju, which is trying to unilaterally relocate the military airport without the consent of the residents.

Kwon Sook-hee, president of the Saemaeul Women's Association of Samhyang-eup, stated, "It is clear that the relocation of the military airport will cause noise damage to the residents and reduce the economic effects of the existing civilian airport," and vowed, "I will take the lead in the resolute opposition movement until the relocation of the military airport to Muan is canceled."

Meanwhile, the Saemaeul Women's Association of Samhyang-eup plans to take the lead in blocking the relocation of the military airport through continuous resolution rallies.
