Champ Cold syrup is composed of acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine maleate, DL-methylephedrine hydrochloride, guaifenesin, tipepidine citrate, and riboflavin phosphate sodium (B2), which alleviate children's comprehensive cold symptoms such as runny nose, cough, and fever. It comes in single-use stick pouches of 5㎖ each, making it convenient to take and easy to carry. Additionally, the individual packaging ensures hygiene.
The product can be taken from the age of 2, and the recommended dosage according to age should be followed for each intake. For children aged 3 to under 6, one 5㎖ pouch per dose is appropriate. Champ Cold syrup has a green grape flavor to reduce children's reluctance to take medicine.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, "Champ Cold syrup, like all previously released Champ products, does not contain artificial coloring or preservatives, making it a safer product for young children," adding, "We hope that the children's specialized emergency medicine brand Champ will help manage children's health during times of increased outdoor activities such as attending daycare or kindergarten, starting elementary school, and traveling."
Dong-A Pharmaceutical's children's fever and cold brand 'Champ' was first released in 1993 and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
