Gimhae City to Recruit 37 People for Affiliated Public Institutions

Open Recruitment for 29 Regular Positions and 8 Contract Positions

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam Province will publicly recruit new employees for its affiliated local public institutions this year.


According to the city's integrated recruitment announcement, a total of 37 people will be hired, including 29 general positions and 8 contract positions by rank.


By institution, the numbers are ▲Gimhae Urban Development Corporation 18 people ▲Gimhae Welfare Foundation 5 people ▲Gimhae Cultural Foundation 12 people ▲Gimhae Biomedical Industry Promotion Agency 2 people.


The application period is from the 28th of this month to March 9, and the written exam will be held on March 18 at Gimhae Construction Technical High School.


Applicants must have their address registered in Gimhae City from the day before the announcement date until the final successful candidate announcement in order to take the exam.


Duplicate applications by institution or field are not allowed, but for some recruitment fields, the regional restriction will be expanded to include Busan or Gyeongnam.

Detailed information such as eligibility requirements by institution and detailed schedules can be found on the city's affiliated local public institutions integrated recruitment website, each institution's homepage, or the Gimhae City homepage.


This recruitment is being conducted to respond to vacancies due to retirements by the end of this year at each institution and the opening of the Jinyeong Sports Center of the Urban Development Corporation, scheduled to open in April.


To prevent COVID-19, the city plans to enforce mandatory mask-wearing at the test site, conduct full disinfection of the test site before and after the exam, check temperatures before entering the test site, and ensure distancing between examinees, following safety guidelines for local public institution recruitment exams.


A city official said, "This integrated recruitment aims to objectively verify the knowledge and applied skills necessary for job performance at each affiliated institution and select excellent talents essential to our region," adding, "We will continue to do our best to attract many local talents through fair and rational recruitment."
