Silla University-Operated Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center Receives 'A Grade' for Facility Evaluation 8 Consecutive Times

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan City Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center received the highest A grade for the 8th consecutive time in the '2022 Social Welfare Facility Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.


Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center is entrusted and operated by Park Young-hak Foundation of Silla University.

Silla University-Operated Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center Receives 'A Grade' for Facility Evaluation 8 Consecutive Times

This evaluation was conducted on 280 social welfare centers nationwide, assessing six areas: ▲facility and environment ▲finance and organizational management ▲programs and services ▲users' rights ▲community relations ▲overall facility operation, with grades ranging from A (highest) to F (lowest). Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center received an A grade in all areas.


In particular, it received excellent evaluations in pioneering program development and operation, residents' rights, and overall facility management.


During the COVID-19 period, Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center led the establishment of online welfare service infrastructure and training for local welfare center staff, and is leading innovative social welfare projects responding to changing society, such as building an integrated support system for preventing solitary deaths through the Community Chest of Korea.


The faculty of the Department of Social Welfare at Silla University annually provides practical efforts such as information provision and educational support based on professional knowledge and experience to develop community-tailored welfare programs for Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
