[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) and Korea Ocean Business Corporation held the '2023 Busan New Port Hinterland Complex Tenant Support Briefing' on the 21st at the Busan New Port Welfare Plus Center main conference room.
This briefing was organized to introduce programs for tenant companies operating in the hinterland complex by the two organizations, and employees of 69 companies residing in the Busan New Port hinterland complex attended.
At the briefing, Korea Ocean Business Corporation introduced cases of investments in ports and logistics centers to secure competitiveness for shipping and port operators and explained various financial support directions for tenant companies in the port hinterland complex.
Busan Port Authority guided the benefits available to tenant companies in the hinterland complex through the 2023 BPA win-win growth project and introduction of last year's best cases.
Both organizations pledged to further strengthen coexistence and cooperation with port logistics companies in Busan Port through this briefing.
Hong Seong-jun, BPA Operations Director, said, “This year, the win-win fund scale will be expanded to a total of 18 billion KRW, and projects such as productivity improvement support, worker vacation support, and technology protection support will be promoted. We will actively strive to revitalize the management of tenant companies in the hinterland complex.”
