[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) has extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for housing finance cooperation with Malaysia's housing finance institution Cagamas Berhad.
Cagamas was established in 1986 and operates as a housing finance institution under the Central Bank of Malaysia.
Since signing the agreement in April 2019, the two institutions have strengthened various information exchanges and cooperation regarding the housing finance markets in Korea and Malaysia. With this extension of the agreement, they have agreed to maintain a continuous cooperative relationship. Additionally, this year, under a mutual personnel exchange program, HF dispatched employees to Cagamas.
