[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Dankook University has partnered with Kookmin University to cultivate core talents in the biohealth and future automobile sectors.
On the 22nd, Dankook University announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation in talent cultivation in the biohealth and future automobile fields as part of the "Digital New Technology Talent Cultivation Innovation Shared University Project" at the conference room of Kookmin University's headquarters in Seoul.
According to the agreement, the two universities will promote cooperation in various areas, including ▲ mutual sharing of curricula ▲ operation of linked courses among the Innovation Shared University consortium ▲ exchange of human and material resources in related fields.
Kim Subok, president of Dankook University, emphasized, "Through sharing and cooperation of curricula in the specialized fields of biohealth and future automobiles at both universities, we will build an educational model that can create synergy in future new industry sectors."
Meanwhile, the Digital New Technology Talent Cultivation Innovation Shared University Project is a government-led initiative launched in 2021 to nurture core talents in eight major digital new technology fields designated by the government (biohealth, next-generation semiconductors, future automobiles, artificial intelligence, intelligent robots, big data, immersive media, and new energy industries).
Dankook University and Kookmin University have each been selected as lead institutions in the biohealth and future automobile fields, respectively, and are cultivating talents in related areas.
