Dong-Eui Science University Holds Performance Dissemination Forum for Physical Therapists Nationwide

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Department of Physical Therapy at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a Meister University Performance Expansion Forum for physical therapists nationwide over two days from the 11th to the 12th at the 1st Conference Hall of BEXCO in Busan.

This forum was organized under the theme "Physical Therapy Methods for Training Highly Skilled Physical Therapy Talents" to strengthen networks, discover sustainable professional technology master's program content, and attract enrollment to the professional technology master's program.

About 250 physical therapists from across the country participated in the event.

The event began with a Meister University performance sharing presentation by Professor Baek Il-hoon of the Department of Physical Therapy at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, followed by sessions on ▲Understanding Pain Science → Clinical Application of Reflex Stabilization ▲Neck and Shoulder Pain Clinical Approach of Manual Therapy ▲Review and Intervention of Scapular Dyskinesis ▲Running Injury & Analysis ▲Differential Diagnosis of the Shoulder.

Professor Kwon Yoo-jung, head of the Department of Physical Therapy, said, "Through two years of pilot operation of the Meister University, we were able to present a successful model of Meister University that trains highly skilled professional technology talents in the field of physical therapy. It was an opportunity to share with many physical therapists and create new changes and challenges."

The Department of Physical Therapy at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was selected for the Ministry of Education's Meister University pilot operation project in 2021 and has been operating the nation's first professional technology master's program in physical therapy since 2022.
