New "Just 4 Minutes to Explore Ordinances" Corner Established
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Gyeongnam Provincial Council has actively embarked on online communication and promotion through the production of customized legislative news for social networking services (SNS) to satisfy the residents' right to know and build consensus.
An official from the Provincial Council stated on the 22nd, "We judged that the existing legislative news production method had low timeliness and promotional effect regarding legislative activities, so we plan to shorten the production period by producing sections such as plenary sessions, standing committees, on-site legislative activities, and various council events, and to communicate continuously and vividly by utilizing YouTube media."
The Gyeongnam Provincial Council has actively engaged in online communication and promotion by producing customized legislative news for social networking services (SNS).
The existing legislative news production method covers all legislative activities such as plenary sessions and standing committees by session, taking an average production period of at least one month and up to two months. In contrast, the new legislative news will be produced as interview videos in the Shorts format for use on YouTube, aiming to approach the residents more closely.
In particular, a new segment called "A Quick 4-Minute Look at Ordinances" featuring interviews with council members who have sponsored ordinances each session will be introduced. Council members will directly inform residents briefly and clearly about the background, main contents, and expected effects of the ordinance proposals, adding vitality to legislative activities.
The Council's Communication and Promotion Officer said, "We will devote ourselves to producing legislative news with the goals of enhancing viewer convenience, building consensus among residents, and strengthening communication and promotion of legislative activities through section-based production using the popular media YouTube, breaking away from the existing production methods. We will strive to become the Gyeongnam Provincial Council that communicates and works together with the residents."
