According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the 22nd will be mostly clear nationwide with occasional clouds. The morning low temperature will range from -9 to 2 degrees Celsius, which is lower than the average (-7 to 2 degrees). From noon, the temperature will rise to between 3 and 11 degrees Celsius, similar to the average (5 to 11 degrees).
In Seoul, the morning low is expected to be -4 degrees, and the afternoon high 6 degrees. Rain will fall late at night in the Jeonnam region, Gyeongnam region, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island. There may be drizzle or snow flurries in the southern part of Jeonbuk and Jeju Island.
Expected precipitation amounts are less than 5 mm in Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Jeju mountainous areas, and less than 0.1 mm in southern Jeonbuk and Jeju Island.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between ‘Good’ and ‘Moderate’ nationwide. However, in southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, and Chungbuk, levels may temporarily reach ‘Bad’ at night.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
