Jangheung-gun Wraps Up 'Communication and Harmony' Dialogue with Residents

County Governor Kim Seong: "The Renaissance Era of Culture, Tourism, Arts, and Sports Will Begin"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, concluded the schedule of the '2023 Dialogue with Residents,' held over six days from the 13th to the 20th in 10 towns and townships.

According to the county on the 21st, the dialogue with residents was conducted in a format where the county head explained the major county administration projects planned for this year and directly answered residents' suggestions or questions.

Residents presented opinions on overall county administration, including plans for developing historical and tourism content, the operation status of the bio-industrial complex, and measures regarding the approval of various undesirable facilities.

The county immediately conducted on-site inspections of the proposed matters and decided to reflect them in the administration as much as possible by establishing processing plans, reviewing feasibility, and incorporating them into the first supplementary budget.

Before the dialogue with residents, a relief supplies delivery ceremony was held to support disaster victims in the T?rkiye-Syria region, which recently suffered earthquake damage.

On the first day, Kim Seong-han, former Kia Tigers manager and Jangheung-gun public relations ambassador, attended and drew attention by supporting the Hometown Love Donation System.

County head Kim Seong said, “Through communication with residents, I was able to hear vividly the direction the region should take and the issues that need improvement,” adding, “We will open an era of cultural, tourism, arts, and sports renaissance in Jangheung-gun to revitalize the region.”
