At the regular general assembly, the 2022 revenue and expenditure settlement, the 2023 budget (proposal), and the appointment of executives following the launch of the 2nd term of the civilian administration were resolved.

The Namwon City Sports Council plans to smoothly operate all tournament preparations through communication channels with sports organizations, including the international roller competition in April, international competitions in kendo and baduk, 25 national competitions, 14 mayor's cup competitions, the provincial sports festival, and five other participant competitions.
Programs to revitalize citizens' sports activities will also be carried out without disruption, and with the large-scale expansion of public sports facilities around Chunhyanggol Sports Park, they plan to attract year-round training camps to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
Ryu Heung-seong, president of the Namwon City Sports Council, said, "Under the slogan 'Citizen's Health Partner! Namwon City Sports Council united through sports,' we are stabilizing the secretariat and preparing various activities to unite the hearts of athletes and leap forward as a sports welfare city centered on the Jirisan area."
He added, "We will work with the Namwon sports community with one heart to successfully host the 2023 Namwon FAI World Drone Racing Championship and the Namwon UAM·Drone International Expo, held from October 6 to 9."
