Federation of Korean Industries Donates 100 Million KRW for Earthquake Relief in Turkey and Syria

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) donated 100 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross on the 21st to support the prompt recovery efforts in the T?rkiye and Syria regions, which have suffered significant human casualties and economic losses due to the large-scale earthquake.

Earlier, on the 16th, Huh Chang-soo, chairman of the FKI, sent a letter of condolence to Orhan Turan, chairman of the T?rkiye Economic Association (TUSIAD), an economic cooperation partner organization. In the letter, Chairman Huh stated, “T?rkiye holds a special place in the hearts of the Korean people due to its contributions during the Korean War,” and added, “With the leadership of the T?rkiye Economic Association, I firmly believe that T?rkiye will recover quickly and achieve national reconstruction.”
