The main points of the business agreement are ▲the G Valley Industrial Museum providing a creative foundation that can highlight the regional identity of the ‘Guro Industrial Complex,’ and ▲establishing a cooperative system in which Guro Cultural Foundation and Geumcheon Cultural Foundation, which have been supporting local cultural and artistic projects and artists, participate in creative support projects.

The ‘West Seoul Cultural Network’ plans to take the lead in revitalizing the G Valley regional culture through effective joint projects. As the beginning of the cooperation, starting from March this year, about 100 photographs of the G Valley Industrial Museum’s collection will be exhibited online through a planned exhibition held by Geumcheon Cultural Foundation, followed by the works of five artists active in Guro Cultural Foundation being presented to citizens at the G Valley Industrial Museum’s special exhibition hall.

Choi Jong-ik, Director of Seoul City’s Strategic Industry Infrastructure Division, said, “The Seoul Metropolitan G Valley Industrial Museum will serve as the core of the ‘West Seoul Cultural Network’ and establish a creative foundation that can highlight the regional identity of the ‘Guro Industrial Complex.’” He added, “Going forward, the G Valley Industrial Museum will continue to expand its business connections with various institutions in the West Seoul area and do its best to enhance the quality of life for Seoul citizens as a hub of local culture.”
