The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 21st at midnight that 11,880 new COVID-19 cases were added, bringing the total to 30,445,775.

Compared to a week ago on the 14th (14,368 cases), the number of new cases decreased by 2,488.

The number of critically ill patients hospitalized decreased by 2 from the previous day to 195, remaining in the 100s for two consecutive days.

There were 8 new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total death toll to 33,873. The number of deaths also recorded single digits for two consecutive days.
