'First Half Year Local Government Officials Education Development Council Meeting Held'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Local Government Officials Training Institute under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 21st that it will hold the '2023 First Half Local Government Officials Education Development Council' tomorrow to discuss ways to advance local government officials' education and training.

First, there will be a session to share education and training plans between central and local governments to strengthen the core competencies and expertise of local government officials who lead the realization of the local era and balanced regional development.

Next, under the theme of 'Cyber Education Production and Utilization Plans,' a free discussion session will be held to promote cyber education in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), where practical cooperation methods between cities and provinces will be discussed.

Ryu Imcheol, Director of the Local Government Officials Training Institute of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, “As a central educational institution nurturing key local talents, the Local Government Officials Training Institute will further strengthen communication and cooperation with city and provincial training centers this year to support balanced development of public officials' education across each city and province.”
