[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is conducting a public contest for the '2023 Gender Equality Fund Support Project' until March 2.
This contest was prepared to realize gender equality, expand women's social participation, and promote women's rights.
The contest covers four areas: ▲ projects to spread a culture of gender equality ▲ family-friendly projects for work-family balance ▲ projects to enhance women's safety and rights ▲ projects to expand women's economic activities and social participation.
Eligibility to apply is limited to non-profit corporations and non-profit private organizations located in Sancheong-gun as of the announcement date, with only one project per corporation or organization allowed. The total support amount is 45 million KRW, with up to 5 million KRW per project, and applicants must bear at least 10% of the funding themselves.
Corporations and organizations wishing to apply should submit the Gender Equality Fund application form and required documents to the Welfare Support Division of the county office by March 2. Submitted projects will be reviewed by the Gender Equality Committee and selected projects will be implemented starting in April.
A county official said, "We hope for the interest and participation of many corporations and organizations with innovative ideas for realizing gender equality and improving awareness."
