Wang Wenbin, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was asked at a regular briefing on the 20th about U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's remarks that China is considering providing ammunition and other weapons to Russia. Wang responded, "It is not China but the United States that continuously supplies weapons," adding, "The United States has no right to give orders to China."
Wang further emphasized, "We have never accepted the United States telling China what to do regarding China-Russia relations."
He also stated, "China's policy toward Ukraine can be summed up as advocating reconciliation and urging peace," adding, "In the end, the international community knows very well who is instigating the fighting and encouraging confrontation."
Earlier, on the 18th (local time), Secretary Blinken appeared on the U.S. CBS program 'Face the Nation' in Munich, Germany, claiming that China is considering providing lethal weapons to Russia.
