According to Walt Disney Company on the 20th, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' (directed by James Cameron) surpassed a cumulative revenue of $2.2432 billion (2,902.42512 billion KRW) on the 19th. This record places it in the top 3 of the global all-time box office, surpassing James Cameron's previous work 'Titanic' (1998), which earned $2.2428 billion (2,902.4748 billion KRW).

Director James Cameron has three films in the global top 4 revenue list: 1st place 'Avatar' (2009), 3rd place 'Avatar: The Way of Water', and 4th place 'Titanic'.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network for movie ticket sales, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' recorded a cumulative audience of 10,741,690 as of the 19th. Domestic sales amount to 136.94413405 billion KRW, ranking second all-time.

'Avatar: The Way of Water' is the sequel to 'Avatar', which was released in 2009 and ranked first worldwide in box office revenue. The film depicts the story of the family formed by Jake Sully and Neytiri on the planet Pandora, facing ruthless threats, embarking on a long journey and battles to survive, and enduring the wounds they must bear.
