[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Hyundai Motor Group has started the public recruitment of startups for the first half of this year on the open innovation platform ‘Zero1 Accelerator’ from the 17th. This platform discovers and collaborates with startups with excellent capabilities based on ideas directly proposed by in-house teams within Hyundai Motor Group.
In-house teams propose projects they want to collaborate on with startups and also participate in the selection process. The finally selected startups can jointly carry out projects with the teams.
The 2023 first half Zero1 Accelerator is recruiting startups based on a total of 26 projects across seven themes: ▲Vehicle Application Technology (Autotech·4 projects) ▲In-Car User Experience Enhancement Technology (In Car Ux·5 projects) ▲Mobility Service (Mobility Service·4 projects) ▲Building Management Solutions (Proptech·4 projects) ▲Robotics (Robotics·5 projects) ▲Smart Factory (Smart Factory·1 project) ▲Metaverse (Metaverse·3 projects).
Only startups that have completed corporate establishment are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted for about three weeks until the 12th of next month through the official website of ‘Zero1 Accelerator’. The final results will be announced in April after document and interview evaluations.
The finally selected startups will receive project development funding and will also be considered for equity investment by the Zero1 Fund operated by Hyundai Motor Group.
