Prize Giveaway Including International Flight Tickets
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Asiana Airlines announced on the 20th that it will hold a social media (SNS) event called the ‘Random Travel Challenge’ until March 19.
The event involves following Asiana Airlines’ official Instagram account, taking a photo using the ‘AR filter,’ tagging Asiana Airlines, and posting it on the participant’s own story.
The AR filter randomly selects three items?‘when,’ ‘with whom,’ and ‘where to travel’?displayed on an airline ticket image. The main tourist destinations include Hawaii, New York, Paris, Bangkok, Taipei, and Osaka.
The event will run for four weeks until April 18, and the best posts will be selected after the event ends. Prizes include one long-haul international economy class ticket (choice of Hawaii, New York, or Paris) and one short-haul international economy class ticket (choice of Bangkok, Taipei, or Osaka). Weekly outstanding posts will receive a Bose QC45 headset (one winner per week) and an Asiana A350 model airplane (five winners per week).
In connection with this, special discounts on air tickets will also be offered. During the same period, customers purchasing tickets for Paris, Taipei, or Osaka routes with travel dates until June 30 through the Asiana Airlines website will receive an additional 5% discount, and the Bangkok route will receive an additional 3% discount.
An Asiana Airlines representative said, "We prepared this event hoping to provide fun to customers through SNS while letting them feel the atmosphere of the travel destinations," adding, "We will continue to plan new content using various platforms."
