DA Technology Increases Factory Utilization to Handle 100 Billion KRW Orders... Q1 Performance Improvement Expected

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] DA Technology, a specialized manufacturer of secondary battery equipment, announced on the 20th that it is maximizing factory operating rates to handle large-scale orders exceeding 100 billion KRW.

According to the company, last year's order performance is reflected in sales, raising expectations for a rebound in first-quarter results. The company has successfully secured funding from commercial banks and is accelerating product production according to supply plans. DA Technology secured orders worth approximately 100 billion KRW or more based on last year's single sales and supply contract disclosures.

DA Technology expects continuous benefits as major global customers expand their factories due to increased demand for secondary batteries. The company is expanding its domestic and international supply chains by delivering its core secondary battery equipment, such as cathode laser notching and stacking equipment and assembly lines for cylindrical batteries, to LG Energy Solution, gaining recognition for its technological capabilities.

A DA Technology official said, "With the large-scale order secured last year as a turning point, we expect performance improvement starting from the first quarter of this year," adding, "We are currently operating factories 1 and 2 at full capacity and making company-wide efforts to ensure no disruptions in supply plans." He continued, "We will strive to enhance shareholder and corporate value through company growth driven by increased sales from the improved secondary battery market conditions."
