The newly constructed Changseong-dong Annex will be established with seismic design applied to ensure a safe government office building, and will also offer various cultural programs.

The completion is scheduled for December next year, and it will be used as office space for government agencies currently renting buildings near Gwanghwamun (exclusive area of 15,579㎡).

So-yeon Jo, head of the Government Complex Management Headquarters at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, “By applying the ‘Smart Workspace Utilization Project’ currently being promoted by the Government Complex Management Headquarters, we will innovate space utilization, improve work efficiency, and enhance working conditions for public officials,” adding, “It is expected to contribute to budget savings by reducing some of the leased area.”
