[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Kim Yong-tae, a candidate for the Supreme Council member of the People Power Party, criticized Kim Ki-hyun, a candidate for party leader, for raising a so-called 'color theory' against candidate Ahn Cheol-soo, saying, "Did Assemblyman Jang Je-won really try to unify with President Yoon Seok-youl with someone whose identity has not even been verified?"

On the morning of the 19th, candidate Kim Yong-tae stated on his Facebook, "If candidate Kim Ki-hyun keeps speaking like this, what will become of Assemblyman Jang Je-won, who was so proud and confident that he achieved the unification between President Yoon and candidate Ahn just before the presidential election?" Assemblyman Jang, considered a key figure in Yoon Seok-youl's circle (Yoon's core associates), is known to have played a significant role in the unification between then-candidate Yoon Seok-youl and candidate Ahn during the last presidential election.

Candidate Kim Yong-tae then emphasized, "If you really are a candidate favored by Yoon's support, please compete with a vision instead of outdated color theory."

Earlier, candidate Kim Ki-hyun said about candidate Ahn, "If someone who claims to represent the conservative party pursues values contrary to the party, wouldn't that mean they are unqualified to be party leader?" and added, "Verification of candidate Ahn's identity is necessary as a matter of fact-checking."
