Meeting between Central Government Youth Advisors and 2030 Advisory Group

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 19th that it will hold a youth policy meeting tomorrow at Commons Field in Chuncheon, Gangwon, to hear the vivid opinions of local youth.

At the meeting, the main contents of youth policies from central government departments, such as youth employment, housing, and education support policies, as well as the current status of provincial youth policies, will be mutually shared, and discussions will be held on improvement measures that local youth think about.

The regional touring youth policy meetings will continue to be held monthly in the future to strengthen cooperation between the central and local governments and to create policies that youth can feel.

Jung Young-jun, the Youth Policy Officer of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Policy Planning Officer, said, “It is important to listen to the voices of local youth to create a bright future that young people dream of,” adding, “We will actively reflect the diverse opinions of youth in policies.”
