Pukyong National University Holds Degree Conferment Ceremony ... Total of 3,011 Graduates Awarded

The degree conferment ceremony was conducted both online and offline, with a total of 3,011 graduates including 108 doctoral, 400 master's, and 2,503 bachelor's degree recipients.

At the event, Jeong Seong-yoon from the Department of Chemistry received the President's Award as the top undergraduate student, and Kim Min-wook from the Department of Fisheries Biomedical Science received the Alumni Association President's Award.

Prior to this, Pukyong National University conducted academic gown rentals by department from the 13th until this day and set up photo zones across the campus for graduation commemorative photos so that graduates could leave memories.

Pukyong National University graduates are taking a group commemorative photo with the mascot Baekgyeong.

President Jang Young-soo said in his degree conferment address, “We are now facing an era of great transformation,” adding, “With the crisis in industries due to global hegemony competition and the normalization of digital transformation, the key factor that will determine winners and losers will be the gap in talent and technology.”
