The Gyeonggi Provincial Council announced on the 17th that it held a personnel hearing for Nam Yang-ho, candidate for Director of the Gyeonggi Lifelong Education Promotion Institute, and adopted a report with an opinion of 'suitable.'

Candidate Nam previously served as Senior Researcher at Samsung Economic Research Institute's Management Strategy Office, Secretary for Agricultural, Fishery, and Food Affairs at the Presidential Office of Economic Secretary, President of Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries, and Director of the Human Resources Development Institute at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.

Since the 8th elected administration, 13 heads of Gyeonggi-do affiliated institutions, including Kim Se-yong, President of Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation, have been appointed after personnel hearings by the provincial council. No candidate has been disqualified yet.
