[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The Democratic Party of Korea began the process of consolidating party opinions on electoral reform on the 16th.

On the same day, the Democratic Party held a discussion forum for lawmakers on the electoral system, hosted by the Innovation Committee. After the forum, Jang Kyung-tae, a Supreme Council member of the Democratic Party, stated, "We held a discussion forum on electoral system reform," and added, "We shared the history of discussions based on our party's reform direction and the electoral system."

Supreme Council member Jang explained, "Today's forum was not a discussion to finalize conclusions," and "We plan to report to the party meeting after several rounds of discussions."

However, the attendance rate was low, with only about 30 members participating, representing a portion of the entire Democratic Party lawmakers.
