After using the LG PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture, my perception of air purifiers changed. Nowadays, it is difficult for a product that simply excels at its main function of "air purification" to be chosen by consumers. I realized that while the core function is essential, products that combine various design elements and additional features can attract market attention.

As the name suggests, the LG PuriCare Objet Collection Aero Furniture is a product that combines an air purifier and furniture. The cylindrical main body provides air purification, while the circular table on top supports wireless charging and storage for smartphones and earphones. The purification area is about 6 pyeong (approximately 20 square meters), making it suitable for use in bedrooms or studies.

After using it in the bedroom for several days, the advantage of the circular table was significant. Although there was a small stand next to the bed headboard before, its narrow width limited its use. Placing the device next to the bed made it convenient to put various items such as books, newspapers, game consoles, and water cups. For smartphones, placing them on the designated spot on the table started charging immediately. This meant there was no need to clutter the bedroom with other tables or wired chargers.

Since I wanted to use the product by my bedside, I was initially concerned about noise, but it was unfounded. When set to sleep mode during bedtime, the sound was barely audible and did not disturb sleep. The noise level in this mode is about 21 decibels (dB), which is more than twice quieter than library noise (40 dB). Even in normal mode, unless set to the highest level, it was quiet but powerful. It removed not only ultrafine dust but also harmful gases such as ammonia, formaldehyde, and toluene.

The essence of the Aero Furniture function was revealed in the evening. Pressing the lighting button activated a warm light from under the table. It could be adjusted in two steps, serving as a mood light suitable for various situations. Using the LG ThinQ app expanded the color options to eight, including blue, green, and yellow. Additionally, after a software upgrade via the app, the mood light could be adjusted in four steps. Before sleeping, leaving a soft yellow light on and playing music helped relax and achieve a good night's sleep.

What distinguishes this product is that it combines various functions without compromising design. It has only three buttons, hidden under the table to avoid visual clutter. Unlike many existing air purifiers with rectangular shapes, its rounded design is an advantage. With no sharp edges, it is a product suitable for homes with children or pets.

The Aero Furniture I used was in Calming Cream Yellow, resembling the trendy lemon butter color these days. Since the room was white-toned, placing the device had a significant interior effect. The Aero Furniture comes in three colors including White and Rose, and the body and table can be combined in different colors, allowing consumers to express their individuality. The table is available not only in a circular shape but also in an oval shape. Including accessories, there are up to 20 design options available for the device.

Of course, there are some drawbacks. Since the Aero Furniture is designed for rooms, its purification area is relatively small. I wanted to place one in the living room for interior effect but did not do so. I hope that in the future, various Aero Furniture products will be released to provide more choices for consumers. If the device colors become more diverse than now, the number of possible design combinations will increase even further.
