Representative solo dining franchise Ssaumui Gosu announced last month that it has renewed its contract with mixed martial artist and brand representative model Kim Dong-hyun.
Kim Dong-hyun is the first Korean fighter to enter the UFC, a former UFC welterweight top 6 ranked fighter, and holds the record for the most wins by a Korean in the UFC (13 wins). As a pioneer of Korean MMA on the global stage, he has recently appeared on various entertainment and broadcasting programs, gaining high public recognition.
Ssaumui Gosu, which has employed Kim Dong-hyun as its brand representative model for four years, covers all costs required for model selection and contract renewal, leading efforts to reduce the burden on franchisees.
In the franchise industry, where it is common to hire famous celebrities or broadcasters for advertisements and pass on advertising fees ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of won to franchisees, Ssaumui Gosu’s approach is very unusual, and franchise owners also express high satisfaction.
A representative of Ssaumui Gosu stated, “To reduce the burden on our franchisees, we do not charge them even a single won for model fees, which constitute a large part of advertising expenses. We will continue to strive to be a brand that constantly innovates and works tirelessly for the sales and profit growth of our franchise owners and mutual prosperity.”
