[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hankook Tire & Technology (hereinafter Hankook Tire) announced on the 16th that it held the 2023 Korea Business Headquarters New Year Meeting under the theme of "Another Leap, Step Up 2023" on the 15th at Hotel ICC located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
The event was attended by about 200 people including Hankook Tire offline franchise stores and dealer representatives such as T’ Station, a tire-centered total automotive service specialty store, and TBX (Truck Bus Express). It was organized to share the major management achievements of 2022 and to commend the efforts and achievements of dealers who widely promoted the premium brand image of the global brand Hankook to domestic consumers.
In line with the large-scale annual event resuming after three years since the COVID-19 pandemic, various programs were conducted. The event proceeded in the order of watching the opening video, awarding excellent dealer awards and 30-year service awards, presenting the 2023 Korea Business Headquarters strategy, a special lecture by an external instructor, and a lucky draw.
On this day, Hankook Tire selected 80 excellent dealers who contributed to the company's growth over the past year and awarded them the "Dealer Award." Winners are given the opportunity to attend the "ABB FIA Formula E World Championship," where Hankook Tire is the exclusive supplier and official partner of electric vehicle racing tires.
They will experience Hankook Tire's electric vehicle racing tire technology by watching rounds 10 and 11 of Formula E Season 9, held from June 3 to 4 in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. In addition, appreciation plaques were presented to 20 dealer companies that have established themselves as reliable partners of Hankook Tire over the past 30 years.

Along with this, a review of major management achievements from last year was conducted, and strategies for the 2023 Korea Business Headquarters were shared to explore ways to strengthen sales in the domestic tire market. Then, through a lecture titled "2023 Consumer Trends and the Automotive Market," time was taken to understand the latest trends in the global mobility industry.
