According to Jeju Western Fire Station on the 16th, the pump ambulance is a dispatch system introduced to simultaneously dispatch fire pump trucks and ambulances to emergency scenes to support rapid emergency treatment and rescue activities.
Jeju Western Fire Station operates and organizes 6 pump ambulances.
The main contents include ▲role sharing according to the dispatch situation upon arrival of the first team ▲patient assessment by emergency situation ▲on-site response methods in case of multiple casualties ▲adult and infant cardiac arrest Team-CPR training, etc.
Chief Kim Youngho said, “We will enhance the professionalism of pump ambulance personnel through continuous training and minimize gaps in emergency medical services,” adding, “We will do our best to improve the level of emergency medical care at rescue scenes and provide high-quality fire services to citizens.”
