Byeongno Lee, Damyang County Governor, Receives Plaque of Appreciation from Public Officials Labor Union Federation

Boosting Morale of Public Officials Exhausted by COVID-19 and Contributing to Labor-Management Harmony

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam announced on the 15th that the National Federation of City, County, and District Public Officials Labor Unions presented an appreciation plaque to Damyang County Governor Lee Byeongno on the 13th.

Governor Lee Byeongno has contributed to enhancing the rights and improving the working conditions of the members of the Damyang County Public Officials Labor Union, and has actively supported not only the legitimate union activities but also administratively and financially.

He also took the lead in boosting employee morale by organizing labor-management win-win workshops, Family Healing Days for employees exhausted from COVID-19, and supporting the activation of workplace clubs.

Accordingly, the Federation of City, County, and District Unions, to express their gratitude, visited Damyang County Office upon recommendation from the Jeonnam regional unit union and presented the appreciation plaque.

Governor Lee Byeongno said, “I am grateful to the National Federation of City, County, and District Public Officials Labor Unions, who have been actively working for the union members of basic local governments,” and added, “I will continue to carry out county administration that communicates and empathizes, believing that only when our public officials are happy can the residents be happy.”
