BeST One-Team, Announcement of Related Comprehensive Measures
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The BeST one-team of the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency has announced a comprehensive plan to prevent the increasing number of elderly traffic accidents each year.
The Provincial Police Agency stated that among the 137 elderly traffic accident fatalities in 2022, which accounted for 53.7% of the total, 71.5% involved pedestrians, two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles, and agricultural machinery accidents, and that related organizations will join forces to prevent these incidents.

The BeST one-team plans to create a social atmosphere for preventing elderly traffic accidents through role sharing among its members.
Chief Kim Byung-su said, “I ask you to do your best to build a traffic safety network that each resident can feel through the faithful performance of the BeST one-team’s roles so that traffic accidents can be reduced.”
