Busan Jungang Library Operates First Half Year Lifelong Learning Programs

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Central Library will operate the 2023 first half lifelong learning program for local residents from March 7 to June 3.


This program offers 21 courses on various topics such as reading, humanities, culture, and arts for infants, elementary school students, and adults.


For infants, four courses including ‘English Creator’ and ‘Picture Book EQ Playground’ will be offered, and for elementary school students, six courses including ‘Booktuber Visiting the Library’ and ‘Maker Story with Books’ will be provided.

For adults, nine courses such as ‘A Tour of Korea’s Five Grand Palaces and Cultural Heritage’ and ‘Humanities through Books and Media’ will be available.


Additionally, for office workers who find it difficult to use the library during the day, two evening courses, ‘Art! Meeting through Movies’ and ‘Everyday English Conversation for Adults,’ will be offered, along with opportunities for local residents to explore various fields such as the ‘Beginner Latin Class.’


Those wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 15th through the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education integrated reservation portal. The tuition is free, but material and textbook fees are the participant’s responsibility. For further inquiries, contact the Lifelong Learning Division.
