[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On Wednesday the 15th, the nation is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain or snow in some areas.


Expected snowfall amounts are 2 to 8 cm in Gangwon Yeongdong, northern Gyeongbuk East Coast, and Jeju Island mountains (until the 16th); 1 to 5 cm in southern Gyeongbuk East Coast, northeastern Gyeongbuk mountains, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; and around 1 cm along the Gyeongnam East Coast.


Expected precipitation amounts are around 5 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, Gyeongbuk East Coast, northeastern Gyeongbuk mountains, Gyeongnam coastal areas, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. Jeju Island is expected to receive 5 to 20 mm until the 16th.


Until the afternoon, light snow less than 0.1 cm or raindrops less than 0.1 mm may fall in Gangwon Yeongseo and inland Gyeongbuk areas, and from afternoon to night in the Jeolla region.


As of 7 a.m. this morning, temperatures in major areas are Seoul -1.1°C, Incheon -1.1°C, Suwon -0.7°C, Chuncheon -3.3°C, Gangneung -1.3°C, Cheongju -0.5°C, Daejeon 0.5°C, Jeonju -1.4°C, Gwangju 0.0°C, Jeju 4.7°C, Daegu 1.5°C, Busan 1.7°C, Ulsan 0.9°C, and Changwon 1.8°C.


The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be between 1 and 7 degrees Celsius, with Seoul reaching a high of 7 degrees Celsius.


Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.


However, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk are expected to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.


Visibility will be reduced in areas with snowfall, and accumulated snow and ice may cause icy roads and black ice, so caution is advised when driving.


Sea waves will be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore.


Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
