Ulsan Jeil Middle School Baseball Club, 3rd Place Overall in National Tournament

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Ulsan Jeil Middle School Baseball Club took third place overall at the ‘Uiryeong County Mayor's National Middle School Baseball Tournament’.

The tournament had not been held for three years due to COVID-19, but was held from the 3rd to the 10th at the Uiryeong Eco-friendly Baseball Stadium following the easing of quarantine guidelines.

In this tournament, the players of Jeil Middle School Baseball Club, who continue the legacy of middle school baseball in Ulsan, recorded an overall third place with a 5-win 2-loss record.

Jeil Middle School BC’s coach Jo Suchang said, “I am pleased to achieve good results in our first national tournament this year,” and added, “I hope our players, who realized that we can do it too, will show even better skills.”
