Program for Training Bio Industry Professionals
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] The Korea Bio Association announced on the 14th that it will operate the 19th Bio Internship. The Bio Association recruits interns annually targeting majors in the bio field to support employment.
This internship is part of the '2023 Science and Engineering Specialized Technical Training Project' supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Industrial Technology Association. Since 2005, the association has been consistently recording an employment rate of over 75% annually and has been selected as an excellent training institution.
The number of selected candidates is 32. The recruitment targets are ▲ unemployed graduates majoring in bio (including junior colleges and graduate schools) and ▲ those born after January 1, 1989 (under 34 years old).
In particular, the specialized training includes ▲ basic bio theory, Minitab statistical practice, and job competency education ▲ practical interview skill enhancement training (resume and self-introduction coaching, mock interview clinics, etc.) ▲ on-site practical technical training (Korea Polytechnics Bio Campus).
After the internship training, participants will cultivate on-site adaptability through two months of field training at bio-related companies. The training fee is fully free, and a training allowance of 3 million KRW will be provided during the specialized training and company training periods. The application deadline is until the 3rd of next month.
The association continues to operate programs for nurturing specialized personnel in the bio field, holding internships annually.
