[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] An 'SNS Supporters' group has been launched to deliver Suwon City’s administrative news through various media.
On the 13th at 2 p.m., Suwon City held the '2023 Suwon City SNS Supporters Launch Ceremony' in the city hall’s medium conference room and presented appointment letters and supporter IDs to 35 supporters.
The Suwon City SNS Supporters are responsible for promoting various administrative news, major events, and tourism information using SNS content such as blogs, Facebook, and Instagram.
The supporters consist of diverse age groups ranging from their 20s to 60s, with 20 bloggers, 3 Facebook users, and 12 Instagram users.
They will also deliver useful lifestyle information to citizens, quickly share good news, and disseminate policies from the citizens’ perspective.
The city provides the SNS Supporters with a small manuscript fee for posts and volunteer activity hours as benefits. Additionally, outstanding supporters are selected quarterly and given extra incentives.
Mayor Lee Jae-jun of Suwon said, "I ask each supporter to actively participate with the mindset of 'I am the mayor of Suwon,'" and promised, "We will support the supporters so they can freely carry out their activities."
Meanwhile, last year, 32 Suwon City SNS Supporters posted 485 blog entries, 557 Facebook posts, 255 Instagram posts, and 30 videos.
